1、 Elimination of axial clearance

2、 Lubrication of AGV robot screw


Lubricating grease and lubricating oil can be used for lubrication. Lubricating grease is generally added to the threaded raceway and the housing space where the nut is installed, while lubricating oil is injected into the space of the nut through the oil hole on the housing. The lubricating grease on the robot screw should be replaced every six months, the old lubricating grease on the screw should be cleaned, and new lubricating grease should be applied. Ball screw pairs lubricated with lubricating oil can be refilled before each operation.


3、 Protection of AGV robot screw


The AGV robot screw should avoid dust or chips, and be closed, such as using spiral spring steel strip sleeve, telescopic sleeve or folding sleeve. When installing, connect one end of the protective cover to the end face of the ball nut and fix the other end to the support seat of the ball screw. If the robot screw is in a concealed position, a sealing ring can be used for protection by installing the sealing ring at both ends of the nut. Contact sealing rings have good dust prevention effects, but due to the contact pressure, the friction torque slightly increases. Non contact sealing can avoid friction torque, but the dust prevention effect is slightly worse.


4、 Regularly inspect the supporting bearings


Regularly check whether the connection between the AGV robot screw support and the bed is loose, and whether the support bearings are damaged. If there are any problems, tighten the loose parts in a timely manner and replace the support bearings.
